Tracy Kelso LMHC, CAP, CET, SAP-Psychotherapist/Owner

I hold a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. I am Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC),  Certified as an Addictions Professional (CAP) and an E-Therapist  (CET) in Florida.  I am also qualified as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) approved by the Department of Transportation to conduct substance abuse evaluations and recommendations for the return to duty process.

I have been in the counseling field since 2003 and helped individuals with a myriad of concerns.  I treat adults and adolescents, as well as couples and families.  I specialize in addictive disorders, trauma, and relationship/codependency issues, however, have a lot of experience helping many with other issues or concerns.   I have experience in a variety of therapeutic settings, inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient.  I  have experience in supervisory roles as well.

Therapeutic Approach
I approach each person as an individual with a lot to offer and not merely a diagnosis or a problem. I like to build on strengths and help people move closer toward the best version of themselves.   I am a Master Level A.R.T.  Therapist as well as a Pscyhodramatist and pull from a variety of other theoretical approaches.

I use what works for each person and as we are all unique I do not believe in a "one size fits all" mentality. I believe in promoting self-empowerment above all and teaching healthy communication skills, healthy boundaries and healthy ways to cope with uncomfortable feelings and situations. I work in collaboration with each of my clients to help foster growth. Each person holds the key to recovery and my job is to offer guidance so it can be unlocked.
